2006-2007

JLB Mission Statement

: "The Junior League of Beaumont is an organization of women committed to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women, and improve communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable."

In 2006-2007 the JLB membership will include approximately:

31 Provisionals: Members-to-be who are currently in a training program.

148 Actives: Members who are currently fulfilling community volunteer commitments and managing the organization.

341 Sustainers: Members age 40+ who serve in advisory and support roles in the JLB and who continue to volunteer on their own in the community.

In 2006-2007 the members will contribute volunteer hours and money to the following community projects:

  • DIAD Projects
  • Family Resource Center Family Nights
  • Family Resource Center Summer Camp
  • Musical Therapy
  • Literacy Depot
  • Mentoring Women 2 Sunshine Cove
  • Trinity’s Morning Out Club

The JLB will contribute additional funds in the community through the Community Assistance Fund.
